Employment

Thank you for your interest in our company.  We provide sitters to work in several residential homes, churches, daycare facilities and hotels.  We have several positions available depending on your schedule and qualifications. All persons interested in becoming sitters must meet the following criteria:

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Must be loving and have a desire to work with children
• Must have your own reliable transportation
• Must have a working cell phone and e-mail access
• Must be willing to submit to an extensive background checking process
• Must be willing to travel within a 25 mile radius of your home

Please note that there is a $20.00 fee to register with the service that covers the cost of the background check, SalemSitters Photo ID, T-Shirt with company logo and cling magnet for your car.   This fee will be assessed at the time that you are asked to join our team.

Babysitting rates start at $8.00 an hour and go up from there.  The rate for each assignment is predetermined by SalemSitters and the client.
