Elder Care

SalemSitters is a baby, pet, house and Level 1 elder care sitting service. SalemSitters proudly presents a staff of experienced, detail oriented professionals for your use. You will find warm and friendly sitters who are truly concerned about your family needs. We interview each sitter personally, do an extensive background check and carefully check references and previous employment records. We are sensitive to your needs and that is why SalemSitters is offering you the convenience of one telephone number to locate a safe and reliable sitter for your loved one. This care includes help around the house, preparing and serving light meals, doing small errands like or running to the grocery store and transporting your loved one to doctor's appointments or other activities.

The sitters are professionals, CNAs, Physician Assistants, graduate students, and retirees who want to do elder sitting in their free time. All sitters are at least 18 years of age, have their own transportation and are CPR certified. Sitters are available by appointment mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and overnights seven days a week.

To become a client of SalemSitters, we request a one-time registration fee of $45.00 to be sent in with the attached registration form. Once we receive this information and you need a sitter, you simply call SalemSitters with the date and the time. Once a sitter has been selected, we will call you back to let you know who will be coming to sit for your loved one. You pay the sitter an hourly rate directly or we can bill you (2 hours minimum sit). SalemSitters then bills you the standard placement fee each time a sitter is sent to your house.
